About James Floor Covering
James Floor Covering started out over 40 years ago as a family operated grassroots flooring company. As a father, mother, and two son team, we offered residential customers a wide variety of tile, stone, carpet, and hardwood services. In the late 1990's, we shifted our focus to high-end multi-million dollar custom homes. This environment enabled us to display the true quality of our workmanship through a series of elaborate and intricate flooring designs. When the real-estate bubble burst and residential work slowed, we pioneered into the high-end commercial flooring industry. The company went union and we haven't looked back since. In just 25 years we've grown from a small family startup to a well established company with over 100 dedicated employees. No job is too small or too large. We have successfully completed many multi-million dollar jobs with the largest exceeding 4 million dollars. We now employ ten full-time family members who are dedicated to ensuring the success and growth of this company.
Union Trained
Our installers are rigorously trained thru the Union Apprentice Program. We have hand picked only the most dedicated trainees from the union. We further train our installers from within the organization. They develop a specialized skill-set unique to the field. Most of the foremen in our office have also been union installers. They not only know how to manage their individual department but they're also familiar with the technicalities of the installation itself. Our estimators and project managers are of highest regard. They know every aspect of the tile, flooring, and stone business. Our accounting department deals with multiple unions and handles an extremely complex payroll. Together, as a unified team, we are James Floor Covering.

As a family-owned and operated business, we truly understand the importance of taking care of each other. To that end, we pride ourselves on giving back to the less fortunate.
